How Nano Silver and Nano Disinfektan Fight Vibrio
Nano silver and nano copper particles work through a layered mechanism: they physically penetrate the pathogen's cell membrane, inhibit enzyme activity and energy (ATP) production, trigger reactive oxygen species that damage bacterial DNA, and ultimately denature cell proteins, killing the pathogen completely. Because this attack happens at multiple points — not through a single mechanism like antibiotics — the nanotechnology doesn't trigger bacterial resistance, while remaining effective against Vibrio, WSSV virus, and EHP/Nosema spores.
Field-Proven Results
FisTx's Nano Disinfektan has been tested at multiple commercial ponds. At a shrimp pond in Pasuruan, routine application kept total Vibrio levels below the safe threshold (<10%) throughout the entire farming cycle. In a feed-additive trial with partner PT MEN, one pond recorded a drop in pathogenic Vibrio Green from 38,700 CFU/ml to 0 within just 10 days of evaluation. A farmer in Kulon Progo, who had been experiencing high mortality since DOC 30, was able to restore pond conditions and complete harvest at DOC 120 with size 28, totaling 9.5 tons.
