FisTx Introduces Indonesia's First Electrolysis for Shrimp Cultivation
FisTx, a technology innovation company aquaculture in Indonesia, is proud to announce the soft launch of Indonesia's first electrolysis technology specifically designed to support shrimp cultivation. This launch event took place at the Congot Brackish Water Aquaculture work unit and was attended by various stakeholders, including shrimp farmers, business partners and government representatives.
Electrolysis technology introduced by FisTx designed to answer various challenges faced by shrimp farmers, such as less than optimal water quality and high operational costs. By using electrolysis technology, farmers can manage pond water quality efficiently, increase productivity, while reducing environmental impacts.
What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is an electrochemical process that uses electric current to break down chemical compounds into their components. In aquaculture media, electrolysis produces hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and chloride ions which can increase ORP and stabilize water quality.
The basic principle is that electrolysis works by using electrodes arranged in such a way and when an electric current flows, the electrolysis process produces active compounds which can produce OCl- as a disinfectant compound which functions to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria through a redox process.
Main Advantages of FisTx Electrolysis Technology:
- Reduces 99% of Pathogenic Bacteria, Electrolysis technology is capable of producing HOCl which can overcome water quality problems often faced by farmers, such as the presence of pathogenic microbes.
- Describe dangerous organic materials (NH3), aWater polluted by organic materials and waste from shrimp feed can inhibit the growth and health of shrimp and can be broken down using electrolysis technology through an oxidation process.
- Increasing Cultivation Sustainability, this technology is able to maintain water quality and reduce the use of chemicals, this technology has the potential to help farmers run their businesses more sustainably.
- Increasing Harvest Yields and Product Quality The application of this technology produces sufficient dissolved oxygen so that it can speed up organism metabolism, and stress on shrimp can be reduced. This is what can ultimately increase the yields of shrimp farming farmers.
- Reducing Operational Costs The use of electrolysis technology can reduce operational costs for farmers, because it can reduce the need for water treatment chemicals and waste management. This technology offers a more environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution.
The soft launch of electrolysis technology for Indonesian farmers is an innovative step that brings many benefits to shrimp farming. In his remarks, FisTx CEO, Rois Mubarok, said, “FisTx is committed to presenting innovative solutions that empower shrimp farmers throughout Indonesia. "This electrolysis technology is the result of intensive research and development which we believe can bring big changes to the aquaculture industry in Indonesia, especially in increasing productivity and sustainability."
Apart from the technology launch, this event was also filled with presentation sessions regarding Electrolysis by FisTx technology, panel discussions, live technology demonstrations in ponds belonging to the Congot Brackish Water Cultivation work unit. Mr Diduk Kristina Hendra, Head of the BPTPB DIY Marine Brackish Water Cultivation Technology Development Section, also said "We really appreciate and really support the new electrolysis product from FisTx for cultivation development, especially in improving the water quality of cultivation media. We hope that this tool can be a solution for shrimp cultivators..”
It is hoped that the soft launching of FisTx will be the beginning of the transformation of the fishing industry in Indonesia in particular shrimp farming industry. This technology has the potential to change the way shrimp farmers in Indonesia manage their ponds and bring the shrimp farming sector to a more advanced and sustainable level. Wait for electrolysis technology from FisTx to be available to farmers in various regions,
